We do not recommend that you go the DIY route for your prep work before hiring a company to paint the exterior of your home. We can help with all manners of planning and prep work including offering design support to help you choose your color scheme and exterior paint color options, type of paint, and other key design and product decisions.

After the design process, we move into prep work, which often includes:

Warranty – The warranty depends on the project and situation. Typically we offer a 2-year warranty on the labor, and the products we use carry their own manufacturer’s warranty. PaintAsheville preps and uses the products to their specification to ensure that we do not void any manufacturer’s warranty. Have a strong relationship with paint representatives to help with any issues.

Quality paint – We have extensive experience helping our customers choose the right paint product for each job. We do not use contractor-grade paint, which is of lower quality. We use Top-tier residential paint products. Low-quality paint requires the same amount of labor to apply but does not last as long and wares/stains more easily.

Chris Pressley, our owner, has been in the painting business since age 15 (amassing over 30 years of experience). Chris is a 4th generation painter, with nearly 100 years of family experience in the painting industry.

Seven of our crew leaders have 18-22 years of professional experience and have been with PaintAsheville for 15+ years each. We have extensive knowledge and expertise across the 50 team members. Chris has worked on historic buildings, older materials, and restoration projects. We have seen a lot of complex situations over the years and can handle any painting project.

Great work by painting crew. We had a hard stop for finish date as our inter-State removals were being delivered later same week. Paint Asheville communicated really well (thanks Josh / Chris / Crystal) and the crew led by Micky worked very hard to accommodate the deadline even though we added extra work while they were onsite. Paintwork quality was excellent and we are already discussing additional work to finish rest of the house and painting the exterior next year.
