The Farm House
One of my all time, favorite projects PaintAsheville has done is a 100 year old farm house that belonged to the client’s grandfather. She wanted to honor his memory and hard work by bringing it back to life and preserve it for future generations.
We spent several days scraping off the old, peeling paint, caulking and priming.
Once the preparation was complete, we put on some fresh coats of Sherwin Williams “Emerald” Satin Exterior paint and voila, it looked practically brand new. The new homeowner had a new roof installed which just made it look even more amazing.
We enjoyed watching this transformation and the homeowner was overjoyed with the final result!

Wood Cabin Conversion
This project required extensive preparation to convert the natural wood inside and out.
The natural wood on the interior was beautiful, but the new homeowner wanted a more modern feel overall. We kept the natural wood beams in the ceiling and wooden spiral staircase to the loft. The contrast between the crisp white walls and the remaining natural wood, is stunning.
We converted the wood cabinets in the kitchen and the 2 bathrooms as well. We use urethane enamel for coating cabinets and vanities. This product creates a factory finish that is durable and beautiful. The cost of painting cabinets is a fraction of the cost for replacement.
On the exterior of the cabin, we used a solid body stain in a deep charcoal color. We were able to leave some of the cedar accents which gave this cabin a modern charm.
his was such a fun project because the before and after photos are truly amazing!
The homeowner was great to work with. He trusted our abilities to make this happen for him and we were so proud to show him the final product!
